Beam Physics

Overview
Beam Physics Group is engaged in developments of high performance electron storage ring and soft x-ray synchrotron radiation sources. We are developing new light sources, such as a gamma-ray beam and a far infrared radiation.
NewSUBARU synchrotron radiation facility is consists of an electron storage ring (circumference of 120 m) and nine beam lines for users. NewSUBARU is the largest class synchrotron radiation facility in Japan for soft X-ray applications.

Laboratory Tour
For student in University of Hyogo who is interest in visiting NewSUBARU, please contact to beam physics group. Appointment is required for laboratory tour. NewSUBARU is here (MAP).
